West Virginia: Clemson graduate assistant Xavier Dye has joined the WVU staff as wide receivers coach.

South Florida: Middle Tennessee cornerbacks coach / recruiting coordinator Steve Ellis is joining the USF staff as defensive backs coach, a person with knowledge of the situation tells The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman. Ellis spent 10 years at MTSU.

Louisiana Tech: Quarterbacks coach Tim Rattay has joined the Washington Redskins staff as quarterbacks coach. Rattay spent six seasons on the LA Tech staff.

Iowa: Athletic director Gary Barta is replacing Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith on the College Football Playoff selection committee.

Miami (Fla.): Georgia assistant and former Miami player Dallas Crawford is joining the Miami staff as a defensive backs graduate assistant, a person with knowledge of the situation tells The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman.

Sacramento State: Washington graduate assistant Tyler Osborne has joined the Sac State staff as wide receivers coach.

Clemson: Co-offensive coordinators Tony Elliott and Jeff Scott have received raises to $1 million, up from $850,000, according to the Post and Courier, which notes that the rest of the staff is also receiving raises, and Dabo Swinney is expected to as well. Among the other raises, quarterbacks coach Brandon Streeter has received a $45,000 bump to $500,000.

Kentucky: Defensive coordinator Matt House is expected to join the Kansas City Chiefs staff as linebackers coach, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.

Miami (Fla.): Georgia quality control assistant Dallas Crawford and graduate assistant Jesse Stone will join the Miami staff, a person with knowledge of the situation tells The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman. Crawford — a former Hurricanes team MVP — will be a defensive graduate assistant and Stone will be a quality control assistant working with the offense and quarterbacks.

UConn: Offensive coordinator John Dunn has left for the tight ends job with the New York Jets, and UConn offensive line coach Frank Giufre has been promoted to offensive coordinator.

Illinois: Head strength coach Joey Boese will join the Cincinnati Bengals staff, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.

Louisville: Northern Michigan offensive line coach Karl Maslowski has joined the Louisville staff as a special teams quality control assistant.

Bucknell: Valparaiso head coach Dave Cecchini has been named head coach at Bucknell. Cecchini went 17-38 in five years at Valpo.

Morgan State: Former Jacksonville Jaguars running backs coach and Michigan assistant Tyrone Wheatley has been named head coach at Morgan State.

Michigan: Former Michigan passing game coordinator Pep Hamilton is expected to become head coach and general manager of the XFL’s Washington D.C. franchise, a person with knowledge of the situation tells The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman.

Wyoming: New offensive line coach Klayton Adams has left for the assistant offensive line job with the Indianapolis Colts. Adams previously worked at Colorado before recently joining Wyoming.
