Minnesota: Safeties coach Joe Harasymiak has been promoted to co-defensive coordinator, and special teams coordinator Rob Wenger has added rush ends duties.

Rutgers: Princeton running backs coach Jamel Mutunga has joined the Rutgers staff as a quality control assistant.

Indiana State: Louisville defensive analyst David Stuckman has joined the Indiana State staff.

Furman: Marshall graduate assistant Chad Byers has joined the Furman staff.

LSU: Bo Pelini’s contract is a three-year deal worth $2.3 million annually, according to The Athletic’s Brody Miller. The buyout if he leaves for an SEC assistant job is 100 percent of the remaining contract, 50 percent if he leaves for another assistant job and nothing if he leaves for a head coaching or NFL job.

Ole Miss: Lane Kiffin has hired John Miller as associate athletic director for football operations and Michigan defensive analyst Devin Bush Sr. as director of recruiting. Kiffin also announced eight analysts: Joe Hastings, Davis Merritt, DP Eyman, Alex Garwig, Doug Goodwin, Monte Kiffin, Phil Loadholt and Michael Nysewander.

Air Force: Inside linebackers coach Ron Vanderlinden has announced his retirement after 42 years in coaching.

Texas Tech: LSU defensive analyst and former New Mexico defensive coordinator Kevin Cosgrove is expected to join the Texas Tech staff, a person with knowledge of the situation tells The Athletic’s Chris Vannini. Sports Illustrated’s Ross Dellenger first reported the news.

Auburn: West Virginia outside linebackers coach Al Pogue has rejoined the Auburn staff.

Temple: New York Jets scouting assistant Salim Powell has joined Temple as a defensive analyst, Central Oklahoma graduate assistant Xavier Garcia has joined Temple as a graduate assistant and Northern Illinois student assistant Caden Murphy has joined as a graduate assistant.

Nebraska: Offensive coordinator Matt Lubick will earn $500,000 annually on a two-year deal.

Southern Cal: Kansas State senior special teams analyst Sean Snyder is expected to join the Southern Cal staff as special teams coordinator, a person with knowledge of the situation tells The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman. The Manhattan Mercury’s Ryan Black first reported the news.

Vanderbilt: Wide receivers coach Aaron Moorhead has joined the Philadelphia Eagles staff as wide receivers coach.

Wyoming: Eastern Illinois cornerbacks coach Benny Boyd has joined the Wyoming staff as cornerbacks coach, and defensive tackles coach Pete Kaligis has been promoted to defensive run game coordinator.

Mississippi State: Former Mississippi State quarterbacks coach Andrew Breiner has joined the Philadelphia Eagles staff as pass game analyst.

Youngstown State: Cincinnati running backs coach Doug Phillips will be named head coach at Youngstown State, people with knowledge of the situation tell The Athletic’s Zac Jackson.

Baylor: Louisiana Lafayette outside linebackers coach/special teams coordinator Matthew Powledge will join the Baylor staff as special teams coordinator, a person with knowledge of the situation tells The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman. John Brice first reported the news.

Wyoming: Northern Colorado defensive coordinator Marty English has rejoined the Wyoming staff as defensive ends coach. English was on the staff from 2003-11.

San Diego State: New head coach Brady Hoke’s contract is a five-year deal worth $1 million in 2020 and annual $50,000 raises, according to a copy obtained by The Athletic’s Chris Vannini. It includes a $3.2 million staff salary pool. The buyout if Hoke leaves for another job begins at $4.5 million through June 2021 and decreases from there.

Eastern Kentucky: Former Jacksonville University offensive coordinator Trent Steelman has joined the EKU staff as running backs coach/special teams coordinator.

Florida: North Carolina assistant head coach/tight ends coach Tim Brewster is joining the Gators staff, a person with knowledge of the matter tells The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman. Doug Samuels of FootballScoop first reported the news.

Syracuse: The Orange hired Chip West as cornerbacks coach. West spent the 2019 season coaching cornerbacks at Marshall.

Alabama: The Tide officially announced the hiring of alum Freddie Roach as defensive line coach.

Clemson: Co-offensive coordinator Tony Elliott is now the sole offensive coordinator and has received a raise from $1 million to $1.6 million. Defensive tackles coach Todd Bates has added the title of recruiting coordinator and received a raise from $375,000 to $515,000.

Montana State: Texas Tech quality control assistant Justin Udy will join the Montana State staff as offensive coordinator, according to Skyline Sports.
