CWS... Do I want Vandy to win back to back or let the sucky ACC team win it...

I really don't have a problem with UVA winning it. I have a hard time pulling for Vandy, because of the way they fudge their schollys. It gives them an unfair advantage. When it's all said and done I really don't give a crap if USC isn't playing.

Yeah, but I hate to see the ACC drought end... At least Martin and FSU won't get it...

The announcers said Virginia was the last team to be picked in the NCAA. Played in the play-in game, won that and went 1-3 in the ACC Tourney...

If they win the Championship, they will be 44-24

Go Hoos! Vandy has an unfair advantage over most schools with the endowment as well as a Tater lovin coach. They act very bush league with antics such as spiking balls, etc.

Please explain. UNC, Stanford, and I believe, Michigan are the only Power 5 schools that have all of their athletic scholarships endowed. Vandy is not one of them. Is Vandy's overall endowment significant? No doubt, but please explain how they are able to award more $ for baseball scholarships above the 13 or so that the NCAA allows. And please explain the correlation b/w their huge endowment and how they are able to circumvent the scholarship rule.

Don't want Vandy to repeat. Would take some of the shine off our back-to-back National Championships. Plus, I don't like them or their tater coach.

Plus, they only outscored their opposition, total, by 2 runs in the CWS. How is that possible? Oh well, they were clutch and the SEC teams they faced were not.

And every team they faced was an SEC team. In fact, every game played in the CWS involved an SEC team. However, no two SEC teams ever faced each other. Go figure.

Graduated from South Carolina and later Virginia. Go Wahoos! South Carolina is my first love, but I am glad UVa finally won a CWS championship. Hopefully the Gamecocks will back in the thick of it next year.

Go Vandy.....I hate all things ACC....plus I always pull for private schools over big state institutions unless their playing Carolina or anyone in the conference....

Just think... UVA's record was 34-22 before the NCAA and we ended with a record 32-25...

I doubt we could have gotten hot in the right time if we made it in the NCAA's...
