hitting coach, last week? All of a sudden we figured out that you are allowed to hit the ball and score runs. What are we averaging 12 runs over the last 4 games? Heck there have been whole weeks where we didn't score 12 runs

We can bat .250 and average 4 runs per game the first 3/4 of the season, if we are going to end the year batting .350 the rest of the year and the playoffs and averaging 10-12 runs per game, right? Don't they call that peaking at the right time?
This team is certainly peaking! Guys who hit well early on and slumped are finding their bats again (Destino, Moody...), freshmen are getting used to the college game and coming around at the plate, showing their worth, and some pitchers who haven't pitched much all year are getting their shot now and showing they can do some good things... We will see this weekend if this is all luck/ a blip on the radar of if this team is finally playing up to their potential!

Lets see if the trend continues this weekend before we all start doing favors for one another.
Doesn't Vandy beating Louisville help a little. I'm hoping one this weekend and one or 2 in Hoover will do the job. Best of all take this weekend. Take Hoover although I can't be there for championship game. My wife's Dr holds the key, good report Monday AM and the car will be already packed. A few prayers won't hurt. Will be our 10th year going to Hoover
