I don't know what a sneaky suspension is but the WBB has a full roster after accepting Gray's transfer.i have a sneaky suspension it will come down to us, UT or Notre Dame....
Who is she?
Rumor is Hatchell is somehow blocking transfers to UT because she is upset about Diamond Deshields, though I don't know how she is able to do that exactly. Also a transfer to Notre Dame would make sense except for that they are in the same conference (ACC) as North Carolina which means she would probably be blocked from ND. Meanwhile, Mavunga has now begun following Kaela Davis on Twitter with along with Allisha Gray for whatever that is worth.i have a sneaky suspension it will come down to us, UT or Notre Dame....
We have room if transfers don't count against the scholarship limit during the year they are sitting out. I couldn't find and answers after quickly googling it. I would think they wouldn't count until the year they are eligible to play though. She was the UNC player with the Shaq-like presence under the basketball. Very good player. However, it doesn't make a lot of sense for her to transfer to Carolina. She could start at just about any team in the country in two years...except here.

Why? They aren't being redshirted. They are being forced to sit out by NCAA rules. Do they actually get to practice with the team? If not I would think it's not to be counted as a redshirt.I'm pretty sure they are treated just like redshirts. And they do count.
They are red shirting. We are full at 15.Why? They aren't being redshirted. They are being forced to sit out by NCAA rules. Do they actually get to practice with the team? If not I would think it's not to be counted as a redshirt.
Well than that is that. We can't have Mavunga unless someone transfers away. Looks like were are going to have to turn one of the best bigs in the country away unless someone knows something I do not. They are red shirting. We are full at 15.
They do get to practice. Some of our toughest games will be in practice next year.Well than that is that. We can't have Mavunga unless someone transfers away.
Does anyone know if she has the means to pay her own way for a year could she transfer and walk onto the team? Not saying she wants to do this. Just wondering if she could.i have a sneaky suspension it will come down to us, UT or Notre Dame....

I also want Lauren Cox.....she is another Aja....As good as she is. If we just hold who we have now, and maybe land Tori McCoy in the 2017 class it would probably work out better. It's just goes to show how loaded Dawn has made us to be in a position that we would have to turn a way one of the absolute best bigs in the country.
I'm in favor of keeping current restrictions on transfers. I can see an atmosphere similar to free agency and continuous recruitment if players have no personal consequence of transferring.I was on my I-pad last night and could not post this….

But I also like the freedom of graduate students to go wherever they want (a current rule).I'm in favor of keeping current restrictions on transfers. I can see an atmosphere similar to free agency and continuous recruitment if players have no personal consequence of transferring.
I don't understand the reasoning at all that the SEC thought they needed this rule. It kind makes me PO'ed to think about it really. But I also like the freedom of graduate students to go wherever they want (a current rule).
It's a NCAA rule. Why do think it is (only) a SEC rule? What's wrong with the rule? They already graduated and fulfilled their commitment. Why should their old university have a hold on them when they may want to go to a graduate program that does not exist at their undergraduate school?I don't understand the reasoning at all that the SEC thought they needed this rule. It kind makes me PO'ed to think about it really.
"I DON'T like the new SEC graduate transfer rule, that requires you to have 2 years of eligibility to transfer as a graduate."I like the current rules. I like the deterrent of having to sit out a year. It's not too much, not too little. If you are willing to do that than should be able to play where you want. I DON'T like the new SEC graduate transfer rule, that requires you to have 2 years of eligibility to transfer as a graduate. If you graduated early, you should be rewarded for it. Like Imovbioh.
I might have misread that part in the link above. They said it was a year after Masoli transfered t Ole Miss. I suppose it's not a rule anymore."I DON'T like the new SEC graduate transfer rule, that requires you to have 2 years of eligibility to transfer as a graduate."
When did the SEC pass that rule? First I've heard of that.
