How embarrassing that Dickie V, ESPN's lead analyst for the men's college basketball, is a cheerleader in comparison.
 
Doris Sable was the youngest of eight children. She started playing basketball in the second grade.

During her senior year, Sable led the [3]
She left Providence as its all-time leader in assists[3]in 1999, the fifth woman so honored.

I would say she is pretty tough. Dick Vitale, I don't believe, ever stepped on a basketball court in college, unless he stormed the court as a member of the student section.

For some reason, I think I read somewhere that Vitale was a mascot.
