He is an impressive athlete and probably plays early.
Go Gamecocks.
Go Gamecocks.
You just mentioned something I was going to comment on and that is playing TE. A guy at work mentioned that today and I had thought all along he was an edge rusher on defense. I‘m really glad Shane got this kid but I felt like we had the TE position built back up pretty well. At this point I‘ll just trust whatever Shane has planned for Harbor.I hope to see him at TE soon
Split defenders on the seam route
How about a few plays here and there? You just mentioned something I was going to comment on and that is playing TE. In the end, it's about staying power. Remember Burch. Coming is one thing; staying another. Still, it's a good day and this is a solid young man from a sound family.
I do not know. By its name, they seem to be a parochial school in D.C. But it was such a school from Baltimore that came down here and beat he brakes off of Dutch Fork this past season. Those private schools in the big cites that take football seriously are recruiting behemoths. Incidentally, Charlotte Catholic plays in the regular North Carolina league with the public schools and has done well through the years.Speaking of Burch - where does this kid play? A normal league, or where Burch played (that severely exaggerated his abilities at the time). I think Burch was really a low 4-star kid (someone who will become a power 5 starter in a couple of years) and not a 5-star kid (someone who is expected to start at a high level immediately).
If his hands are good, he will be a bigger problem (no pun intended) for opponents than Alshon was.Just read that they plan to play him at wide receiver.
6' 5" 4.4 . Talk about matchup h3ll!
There is no elephant in the room……size/speed…..they can play him wherever he wants. He is a 5 star recruit as an athlete…Rivals shows him as a 5* TE…….247 shows 5* Edge. That's the elephant in the room. He was a 5 star recruit based on his projection at DE.
We shall see if it carries over to him playing TE.

He still has his senior year of Track. Track is a spring sport. The track aspect of nyck is what makes him special. Can’t ask him to give that up. But. Can’t deny the IF part. If he was already on campus it would be better. What could of been the Icing on the cake is Harbor signing in December and enrolling in January where he could of been participating in the winter workouts and spring practice camp. Happy that Harbor decided to come to South Carolina
