NOTES:
** ZaQuandre White is a "bounce back" JUCO recruit who originally signed with Florida State out of North Fort Myers (Fla.) where he was a four-star recruit. White transferred out of FSU to Iowa Western where he has had a huge season and is second in the NJCAA with 121.3 rushing yards per game and is averaging 6.8 yards per carry. The 6-foot, 215-pounder is a good fluid athlete and one to watch as the Gamecocks could ideally look add three running backs to the roster considering what they'll be losing frmo the position after this season.
** Gaffney's Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, a 6-foot-5, 260-pounder, has received heavy interest from the Gamecocks as of late and those who I talk to in Gaffney tell me he's had a huge season and that the interest from other major programs has started to pick up. Ingram-Dawkins visited Carolina for camp this summer, but this will be his first visit for a game. He already had offers from Syracuse and West Virginia, but I'd look for him to start to get offers from higher-profile schools soon. He's heavily interested in the Gamecocks and an early offer would go a long way with him.
** Before anyone asks about Jordan Burch, there's been no indication one way or another one if he will be in Columbia on Saturday. As has become standard operated procedure around here, it's usually hard to tell if Burch is going to visit somewhere or not before he actually shows up (or doesn't show up) but we will certainly be tracking it on Saturday.
** Again, we expect more names to be added to the list later in the week, so keep checking back for more.
