How does a team beat the #9 team in the country and then lose the 10 of the next 12?

Iowa State has beaten some good teams since then, too. I guess the same happened last year with Ky. Beat 'em before the SEC tourney and then watch them go on to the final game.

I just don't get it. Seems like a good/great coach gets more consistent results.

I feel like Frank has maybe lost the players. That's not good. He's even said their recent practices have been lackluster.

This may sound bad, but if I had my pick of any players of 10 on the court between our team and the opponent, I'd start with the other team. No leadership, no heart, no desire, no shooting. It's not a good situation right now, and it's not just a slump.

"I used to have a team full of guys like (Siakam) at Kansas State," Martin said. "I love his enthusiasm, his strength, his toughness, his passion. His demeanor is contagious."

I don't think Martin has lost the players. We need to give him time to fix the dumpster fire that was our basketball team. It took Dawn awhile to fix a womens program. A men's program is a lot more difficult. Frank should get at least 5 or 6 years

To see some improvement, we need 6 (regular season) SEC wins to have one better than last year.

We need 4 more wins to make this happen. We have 4 more home games.

This team might win one more game (against Missouri). This team has ONE player that could start for another SEC team (Thornwell). If we all played the "Gamecock Drinking Game" and took a drink with all missed shots and turnovers, we would be hammered by the 12 minute mark.

This team has lots of problems and I'm starting to think FM is one of them. Which sucks, because I like Frank and I want him and the team to succeed. But not only do we stink in general, now we look like we're quitting. And part of that is coaching. It's too bad because early in the year this team looked pretty good at times, but they've gone backwards. The SEC is certainly improved but these results are shockingly bad. Maybe Dawn could coach the men.

Go WBB!

I don't think Frank has "lost the players" in the sense that he has no control over the locker room. My impression has always been the the players love and respect him. I do think he has "lost" them in the sense that they've given up on the season. There's only the most remote chance of an NIT berth, and we'd likely have to win at least six of the last eight, plus a couple in the SEC tournament to do it. There's not much to play for, and I'm starting to feel like they don't care if they win or not.
