I think we avoided the humilaition. Only Uconn fans can talk crap to us and get away with it. At least for another couple of years. Or if they slip up somewhere else this year and get knocked out of their season, or we pull the upset in the CLA next year.

Well why not? People on this board have called for firing Spurrier, Ward, Martin, and last season some on here called for Holbrook to be fired, so it seems she should be on this list, just like every coach at the University of South Carolina. Hey, we don't want her to feel left out.
You have to cover up their 3 point shooters and play them physical. They got, as usual home cooking. They had a total of 2 fouls in the first half and we had about 10. They started to call fouls on them at the 3 minute mark in the last half. That's the way refs can influence a game. The visiting team gets roughed up, no calls and the home team gets bumped and they get fouls. No wonder no one likes them, they are full of themselves,especially the big #30 girl who got away with foul after foul and had about 2 for the game.
Agree about the officiating. Can't blame the loss on that because to be a champion you have to overcome diversity. However, UCONN always gets the calls when playing at home. Next meeting, who knows? Maybe we'll get refs who are totally unbiased and who call the game objectively.
