....who soil your britches after every Gamecock loss, have you seriously considered finding a new way to pass the time? Maybe go down to Hobby Lobby, buy some pretty fabric, sequins, and glue and make some adorable slip covers for the ladies in your life"? Sports are unpredictable and no one goes undefeated in baseball at any level, and it's obviously too stressful for some of you guys to place you emotional well being in the hands of 18-20 year olds whose primary focus right now is finishing school, not providing you a measure of validation for your personal shortcomings.

NO ONE IS GOOD WITH LOSING TO CLEMSON Good grief! The ridiculous one's who use the childish "realist" comment or the beyond childish comment calling people sunshine pumpers. The poster just said why do certain ones wait on a loss to come out whining BUT never show up after awin! Understand now? It is not about losing to taters or bulldogs or commodores etc

No, just smart enough to know that it has no bearing on the remaining 46 games on our regular season schedule and beyond.

The criticism is aimed at our middle-aged head coach who has no prior qualification to manage an elite baseball program, and whose "learn as I go" leadership strategy is not endearing to a fanbase intolerant (read: terrified) of diminishing national prowess.

Or something like that. It's FGF after all.

This!!! searooster, we're not complaining because we don't win EVERY game. Everybody KNOWS you never win all your games in BB, It was the WAY they lost today. Just no real hitters on this team, and the guys looked & played very uninspired, with seemingly not much burning desire to beat our instate rival playing the rubber match for the series win in our own stadium. We couldn't even score a single run, against a sunday pitcher that had an ERA last year of 15, and it's running around 6 this season. Not too mention we had 4 errors, and a couple times our batters watched the called 3rd strike while they just stood there with the bat on their shoulder. Just a poor performance all around, from top to bottom.

If we had lost 7-6 with us having a chance to tie or win late in the game, I don't think you would see anyone being such a "negative Nellie" because we would have at least given them a game of it. No shame in losing a close one to a decent team, but to go down the way they did today is just unacceptable.

searooster, it's time to let go of your unconditional love for Holbrook. Today's loss was completely unacceptable. I bet Tanner would agree with that.

Good gawd, more whining about whining...like frigging clockwork.

Sure, let's pretend like getting shutout by a bad Clemson team that already lost a series to West Virginia is perfectly acceptable and mock anyone who has an issue with it.

Well if you're satisfied with that performance of getting shutout and you really think that Holbrook is the right guy, then you must be smoking crack.

Bottom line is this team, right now, Is not good... Maybe by the mid season point, they will be a better than average team, maybe not, but lets at least wait until then to "jump ship" Losing to Pickens is unacceptable in everyone's book.. But lets not blame anyone yet.. I know we have become accustom to winning baseball, maybe Tanner spoiled us, either way, they didnt lose on purpose, so let's give them a month or so.. Then I will walk the plank with you..

We dont have a Hobby Lobby here at the beach. We do have a Home Goods where you can pick up that sort of thing. Dont think I have the dexterity or patience for knitting. Now if you made it full contact I might be interested.
