translation, you, as always don't have a a clue. Rankings update is coming in July and we have some coming.
There are 8 we are in the final 2/3 for, I will let you figure out who.

too lazy to figure it out? Your act is beyond old at this point. You whine about kids rankings, and show time and time again you don't have a clue about what is going on. You were sure Burch wasn't coming and didn't want to believe what anyone with knowledge told you, so why does what we tell you matter if you wont believe it.

I'm asking a basic question that's asked by most fans during every recruiting cycle "are we getting any 5* or 4*?" Why does this question trouble you so? I don't have my nose glued into the recruiting rankings. I'm fully acknowledging there are others here who know far more about the subject than I do. So I'm doing what you do in that situation...ask a question.
Have I acknowledged that this class is pretty much all 3* at this point? Yes. Have I complained about it? No. Have I said it would be nice to pick up a couple 4*? Sure. Do you disagree???
To my knowledge, I haven't complained about much anything related to the job Beamer is doing. I'm staunchly in the pro-Beamer camp and have stated as much about various aspects of his job performance thus far (insofar as we can judge at this point). So, yeah, I'm pulling for this young coach to snag a couple nice 4* in his first class b/c I want him to succeed and getting recruiting momentum early on will speed up the process.
If this rankles you, then that's your problem.
Don't care about stars, look at the portal and see how many 4 and 5 stars guys are in it. And at this point, as I stated rankings are going to change. Will care about stars at signing day, and only for about a day or so.
The rankings at this point don't matter, so for anyone to say it's all 3 stars at this point, does not understand how the rankings work, this year like last, is very different and the rankings are very fluid. Camps are happening and things will change. Cull for example is a 4* guy who did not measure up at camp, and we passed, same with Copeland and Kiwaka (sp?) at WR.
So where do you see us ending up on signing day in the rankings nationally and where we fall in line with other SEC teams? I would think that matters, no?
IIRC Rose is a 4* by some services, he recommitted.
We’re solidly in it for Delp, he’s the #2 TE in the nation.
We’re in the final group for the OT from Pennsylvania Brubaker.
There’s guys like Westmoreland who are currently rated 3*, but are on the 4* bubble.
Guys are making visits. Sounds like we made a favorable impression on a lot of guys (and their families).
I still contend many more guys are over (and under) rated right now because of Covid. My understanding is we backed off some currently higher rated guys because they didn’t impress in person.
20-25 nationally, Middle of the pack in the SEC, 6-8. With a first year coach coming off a bad season, that's a solid start. reality is, out of side of the top 8 nationally and 3 in the SEC, it's pretty much a bunched group where most of the classes look similar.

Haven't heard much on Delp. Assumed he was locked into UGA but sounds like he had a great time here.
...Anthony Rose. It's been all over the news and the internet. Let's not forget we picked up a Freshman AA that didn't allow a touchdown all season from the transfer portal (over UT) and the #1 DT as well (amongst others). Rose only chose Carolina over the likes of LSU, Penn State, Michigan, A&M, and Tennessee (to name a few).
He is also on our commit list on this very site.. 🤷♂️
In short, yes. I think it is somewhat likely we might get a 4* commit in this cycle. Not being a smartass, I am just kind of astonished you are having so much trouble finding out about this for someone who spends so much time here…

I mostly post in the forums here and there at work. Takes about 30 seconds or less to make most posts. I don’t browse around to recruiting sites for the most part.
