First, to the poster above, thank you. Secondly, this whole debacle has me reconsidering whether the whole giving multi-year contracts for assistants thing is the right way to go.
 
Well, at least if our defense is bad again this year, Brown won't get blamed for it. These defensive coaches are probably all lame ducks here anyway.
 
Spurrier seemed to imply Brown will make it back on the field. Just give it time.
 
Misread the subject line as "Fire Grady!!!" Now that would be a record: a "FIRE XXX" thread in under a week.

I took that statement as maybe someone on the defensive staff may not like the change and will be moving on after Spring Practice...

Hoke has a 2 year deal, and Ward, Adams, Robinson, Brown and Botkins all have one year left on their contract...

Spurrier is a family man and he will not fire someone with a family, but would encourage them to look elsewhere if they can't fit in...
 
No pass rush, fresh cb's and Poor fs play. Our db's are going to be better with or without Hoke than the Chicago defense was this year.
