It's not just about rain during the time of the game. You have to let the field drain properly after big storms, otherwise you'll have very poor (and potentially dangerous) field conditions for the players.

So it's not raining, we have a state of the art drainage system for the rain that already came down, the softball team is playing, AND we agreed to a 4pm start on Monday when most people will be working and people from out of town have zero chance to make it in? What the hell is our head coach thinking? Why don't we just give them another game in Clemson at night and we can agree to only have 8 players in the field and anything else Jack Leg might want for an advantage.
