Wasn't a whole lot they could do about Britt, after his dad passed he wanted to be closer to home. I can't fault him for that, but it would have been nice to have him this year!

Neither player was here last year. They left after 2013, why because they were behind Pankake, Schrock and Martin on the depth chart in the infeild. Payne did start several games in. LF, both players also had chances to prove they could hit as the DH. Payne had a .185 average in 2013.and a .265 average in 2012. Going into 2013 it was thought he would be the everyday DH, however he struggled and was replaced. Had Payne not transfered he would have graduated in 2014, so he would not have been on this year's team. Iskenderian had a .250 average and had his opportunities to become the DH, he also struggled. So both were given chances to play and didnt produce. Paulson I don't believe ever made the 35 man roster.

Britt choose to leave after his fathers death. He more than likely would have been our Sunday starter this year. Not having Britt in the regional hurt last year.

I don't know why it can't be accepted that this was just one of those "shirt happens" years. I'm not giving up on Holbrook. How long was Ray around before he won it all...?

"Shirt" happens on occasion not over and over again. Gore & Koch soon to be batting .300+ at a D1 contender soon.
