What the hell happened at the end of that game? Why wasn't Notre Dame fouling? Unreal.

Coaching in WBB is very suspect.

10-0 in national championship games. I don't care if he is coaching biddy basketball. That's pretty damn impressive.

It just felt like the Irish were playing to keep it close. They were down double digits with 5 minutes left and not pressuring the ball. They didn't foul at the end. They conceded way too easily for my taste. But, yeah, they kept the score respectable.

Yeah, I would have made them seal it at the free throw line.

One thing of note. The game was well officiated. Nothing really stood out as a bad or missed call.

That's hilarious ...nothing to do and waiting all night...your fixation on refereeing maybe unhealthy.. says leading doctors

Don't tell me how great he is.No competition ! Common they have won 10 finals in a row. That ain't happening in men's college basketball.Bottom line is there aren't that many good college women basketball players. Not a level laying field. He is obviously a great recruiter but to compare him to some of the best coaches in basketball is ridiculous IMO.95% of the games aren't even close. He might have to really coach 3 or 4 games a year. Not sure what the line was against ND but I doubt they covered winning by 10 ? Pretty easy action if you ask me!

Nothing hilarious about it. The fact that the refereeing last night was headline news on every news and sports show today proves me right and you wrong.

Suck it.

Covered the spread UConn -17 in a National Championship Game. When is the last time a spread was that big in any NC game ? Never ! No comp period

Last night you told me to " Blow Me":.. Today you say "suck it"... Obviously you seem to get off on men doing this to you.. give me your address and I'll send a guy I know who does these things, he will help you out.

Girly Man is the greatest coach in Girl's history with 10 National championships as if nothing irregular is going on? Just like Wooden the warlock of Westwood at UCLA back in the seventies. Nothing going on there either.
Seriously, Notre Dame was only interested in narrowing point spread after they fell behind by 13 points late. I think both teams know their roles by now as often as they play.

They are figures of speech. But it is interesting that you seem to have enough experience with this "guy you know" to feel comfortable with a referral.

But anyway, just so you know, the NCAA's head of officiating agrees with me.

He actually said he wanted to stop the game and correct it. Here's his quote:

"I saw it after they had left the monitor, and actually thought about, is it in my prerogative to get up, run over to the table, buzz the buzzer, and tell them to come back and look? That's how critical I thought the play was," Adams said, "but (I) concluded that this was a job for the guys on the floor."

Do you actually believe Darrin Horn would have won 10 NC coaching those same teams? I don't think so. The parity is not even close to the same level as it is in the men's but that doesn't take away from GA has accomplished at UCONN.

You bitch about EVERY game.. that's why people call you out... you are tiring when it comes to your complaining about refs.. that why people call you a whiner....hey one game you approved of, the women's champ/ game, whoa,

He has 5 times more championships than our entire freaking athletic history.

And yes, women's basketball is bigger than men's baseball.

You should probably tread lightly.

I really haven't noticed anybody crying about my opinion of the refs other than you. Maybe you should take some of your own advice and stop cry about how I feel over the refs.

And it's not EVERY game. Kentucky and Duke are the referee darlings and I like to point it out. Refs don't treat all teams and all players equal. Do you think Michael Carrera would have gotten by with a blow to someone's face that knocked them down without getting at least a flagrant one? He would have been lucky to only get a flagrant one in that case.

Sorry that bothers you, but that's your issue, not mine. Get over it. Ultimately, when I can show you that the NCAA head of officiating thought the call was so bad that we wanted to go down and stop the game, the discussion of whether or not it's petty crying/whining is over.

Barely. Both are fringe sports that pale in comparison to college football.

Hey, nothing bothers me pal... if you don't see other people complain about your whining and crying, maybe you are as blind as the refs you say misses all these calls.

I find you hilarious, and i'll wait until the next game you bitch about... it will definitely occur, meanwhile, try to enjoy the games .

Tread lightly? What are you talking about? I never said he wasn't an outstanding coach. He's a very good coach who competes against average to slightly above average coaches. McGraw is the second best coach and he absolutely coached the skirt off her. Is it any wonder he's won 10 championships? He should go to the WNBA or take a job coaching men...there's nothing left for him to prove in women's college basketball.

As far as whether women's basketball is bigger than men's baseball (is there any other kind of baseball?), that has nothing to do with my post.

College baseball and women's bball , from a spectator sport for most people is merely a filler between football.

Outside of SC, nobody cares or watches SC play women's bball or college baseball.

My point was denigrating his achievement opens up room to insult any collegiate program that hasn't won a football or men's basketball trophy (the only two sports that are more popular than women's hoops nationally).

I was looking at salaries out of curiosity - looks like most WNBA coaches make between 200k - 300k. He makes close to 2 million a year at UConn. I'm guessing he probably wants to win atleast one more championship so he can set the record.

I agree that he may not be facing the most elite coaches, but I can't think of any of USC's previous men's coaches that could achieve such dynastic success had they coached women's hoops instead.

Obviously my opinion of the officiating bothers you, because you sure have sandied up your vag over it. And it's always easy to spot the biggest loser. It's the person telling everyone else how big a loser they are to compensate for their own inadequacies. Might explain how you turn my post complementing the officiating in this game into a panty-wadded bitch fest about how I complain about refs. Downright retarded. Get over it.

In the end, if I don't like the officiating and feel like posting about it, I'll do it. And if you don't like it, you can GFY.

Looks like some bodies panties just got twisted , until your next crying game
This is the third time you have cursed me .

He's been offered mens' coaching jobs and turned them down. I suppose he enjoys being treated like a rock star at Connecticut.

Geno is an excellent coach. His teams are much more fundamentally sound and better coached than the men's teams at Kentucky, Duke, or Wisconsin. I'll guarantee you that he could win coaching men anywhere in the SEC. I'm not a fan of his, but I'll honestly give the devil his due. If I could have any coach to rebuild my men's program, he would be above any of the men's final four coaches.

10 National Championships. I think that speaks for itself. Not a lot of competition during the season, but he certainly gets it in the tourney.

Better yet, why don't you ask someone who actually knows something about basketball and then get back to me!

Good coach, but he has had all the best talent for over 10 years. The true definition of a great coach is taking average talent and making them better each year.
