It's the traditional White with the Block C and Gamecock inside the C. It's just like the ones the players wear. It's a Riddell Helmet - it's authentic in everyway.

It's BRAND NEW! No player has worn this helmet. It's a Riddell. As I see the ads on GCC and highlights of the games, it's just like the one the players wear.
I was hoping it was game worn…always good for stories or jokes that way. Back in the day, I was at a fund raising auction for, I think, Big Brothers/Sisters. Skip Holtz and another assistant were there to auction off player gear. The jersey of one of our DBs came up for bid, and Skip pointed out it had been worn in the bowl game, or some other big matchup. I recalled that kid having tons of bad games, so I asked “are the scorch marks and cleat prints still there from before y’all pulled him?” I got the jersey for $50
That is an interesting story but I like mine just the way it is.
I have the 1984 Helmet that was worn by DB Earl Johnson. Have had it since that time. I got it from a former Manager who saved it from being thrown away with all the others. Must have been out of date.

Your best friend is very nice. Since it has the metal bar, it sounds like a replica Ridell helmet. It will be a great display piece! Maybe get some autographs on it.

He was on the National trailer for it when it came out. He did it for a one time experience. He had to take a semester off at college for filming.

No I haven't tried it on yet but I will. I was going to try it on when my buddies gave it to me but we didn't have a screw driver, at the time to remove the medal bar inside the helmet. Then when I got home I didn't want to remove the medal bar at the time. Since then my wife and I tested positive for covid.
