Me, too. He's a winner. I just hope his suspension for just being himself last season doesn't sour him. He was publicly humiliated when a private talk would have been much better.
He's working like FM1 and will make us as proud as he did.
On the other hand, I'm just wondering if he already got those private, closed-door meetings with Ray Tanner and the meeting you are mentioning was a next step. I don't know.
Frank is 15-41 in SEC games. Bless his heart and happy anniversary.
What kind of record did Frank McGuire have in ACC games in his first 3 seasons?
I looked it up in the media guide:
1964-65 Overall 6-17, ACC 2-12
1965-66 Overall 11-13 ACC 4-12
1966-67 Overall 16-7 ACC 8-4
ACC 1st 3 years: 14-28. I will also note that Darrin Horn encouraged his top players to transfer after he was fired. I doubt Dwayne Morrison did the same.
