I've been calling Time Warner about this since August, but their reps act like they don't even know such an animal exits.

Saw a post on here some time ago that some posters had received communication from the University that USC was trying to get TWC to provide this before baseball season starts.

Was just wondering if anyone had gotten any updated info.

Because of the large number of Baseball games that will be exclusively on the SEC+ network, if there are no plans by TWC to provide this content thru the WatchESPN app, then I'm gonna switch providers.

The only way TWC is going to get SEC+ is if they pay Disney the $.20 per customer per month Disney is demanding. Eventually TWC might be convinced it would be best for their bottom line to pay it, but telling them you don't want to miss your college baseball is not going get them to do anything.

Article on go gamecocks today said the SEC, ESPN and Time Warner have been in discussions but have not reached an agreement. Direct TV has reached an agreement to carry the +, but it will not be up and running before April, May or June.

My guess is that the reps really don't know SEC+ exists. They are probably in call centers hundreds of miles away from a TWC service area.

When I first found out about Hargray's acquisition of Charter Cable's Beaufort franchise 2.5 years ago, I called Hargray to inquire if they would be picking up CSS. The rep thought it was exclusive to Comcast & Charter.

Might be worth checking in with ESPN to see what WatchESPN viewing options you have in Sumter.

I read somewhere a few weeks ago (might be FGF for all I remember) about one of the satellite providers offering a $20.00 a month plan to view cable channels such as some of the ESPNs, CNN, TNT, USA, etc. You don't even need satellite service, just internet. I don't think SEC, Big 10, Longhorn, etc. are offered, but if all goes well, I can see that happening down the road.

Because TWC didn't have SEC+ available online, I switched to AT&T Uverse this week. So far, I'm very happy.

Time Warner has made the SEC Network a bad thing for it's customers. I used to get this program I don't have access to on ESPN 3, now I don't get it. The SEC Network is absolutely useless to me without the online features.

TWC and sec plus has reach a verbal agreement but it will take TWC about a couple of months to get it online

I am glad here it, but they need to hurry it up. It's 2015, They could have a contract whipped up and it online in a day. So the agreement must not be done.

what ticks me off is i have charter internet, and can get espn3. but i have direct tv and can't get sec+. its just crazy.
