That is totally unacceptable. I know he had a rush but we have to have a crossing or rub route that can get him free.
 
This is our offense's biggest failure this year. Most teams are able to use their TE in the short passing game. We have no consistent attack to the TE.

We do. It's not always Hurst though. Hurst is a known factor now and would guess draws a lot more attention. We had 3 receptions, at least, on Saturday by TEs. Not too bad.
 
It was a whole lot harder to bracket cover Hurst back when Deebo was on the field, too. The announcers mentioned multiple times that they had high/low coverage on him all day. But...that means someone else should have single all day too.

Not sure that qualifies as a consistent attack, but 2 of those plays were big 3rd down pickups (August and Pollard).

Look at what ky did to us with the TE. We haven't played any stellar defenses (NC State's was the best) this year and we can't get the ball to arguably our biggest weapon on offense?
