Heard that Clowney still can't put weight on his leg.

That may be old news but I got to reading a little more on the injury and it looks as if this guy is going to have to work his a$$ off to get back. AND hope the surgery went well too. I hate it for him! I got to thinking about Lattimore and what he had to endure. And now this with Clowney. Arguably our best ever offensive and defensive players and both may never get an honest shot to show their physical gifts on Sundays. How does that happen? I wanted them both to be Pro Bowlers. Also on the recruiting side of things if they were able to be stars in the NFL it would have helped us by staying fresh in recruits minds. I actually think Lattimores injury may have negatively impacted our RB recruiting. Even though it could have happened to anyone.

Ever had that injury ?

I am in my mid 60's now. As a kid, I played sports like most of you, throughout high school
and two years into college. I got nicked up here and there but never really hurt. This past fall, I was working in my yard
and twisted the wrong way, on an incline, with a heavy piece of equipment in my hand. I tore my ACL, meniscus, strained several ligaments and basically messed up my knee.. They drained blood of my knee for 3 weeks.
If you have ever had this type of injury you can relate to what Clowney is going through.
I went to the doctors in Charlotte that take care of the Carolina Panthers for treatment. It's been 4 months and my knee is still mending.
The pain was like all the pain you ever had in your life put into 30 seconds. I can't even imagine what Lattimore went through. I hope Clowney can work through it.

Sitting here now with my knee up after a cortisone shot. Seems I

have the wrong kneecap. Who knew? And Target doesn't have them, but I know if JD's hurts like mine has been lately he needs to rehab carefully.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Pain has no dollar value. **

It's not just the pain. These guys worked hard for years and years to see their dream realized and it didn't for Marcus and may not for JD. In addition to a lifetime of pain and discomfort they have to always wonder what might have been. They both have great personalities so I know they will be successful but deep down you know it hurts them. Hopefully Clowney can be a guy who can make a full recovery. Or if not at least they get it to where the pain is minimal.
