I think Calvi has made the postseason once since he left here. Maybe he's not head coach material either.
He made it his 1st year as head coach in 2012 and leads the Sun Belt conference this season with a 34-17/19-7 record winning 7 of 9 series to date. They'll probably get an at-large bid this season.
Despite what many on this message board think the man's a pretty good coach. I'd take him back over Meyers in a heartbeat.

That wasn't by coincidence. I was the first guy he talked to after a few of the cws games. Straight out of the tunnel. He knew what he was doing. Had a good handle on all of his arms and how they looked in the pen. Very involved coach.

The most unfairly vilified coach on this board. When he had talent, he did well. Meyers is good too, and now people want him fired. People wanted Tanner fired.
