Honestly believe Carolina will win

I think 5 or 6 wins at best. rebuilding and all. Mainly I wanna see lots of energy and camaraderie. IMO, it’s something Ol Miss had last season and they were at least a fun team to watch. Pretty good to.

I see 4 games that should be definite wins, Vanderbilt and the 3 non P-5 schools. There are 3 other games we should be slight underdogs but could find a way to win against UT, Missouri, and Kentucky. If we can find a way to win 2 of those games we could get six wins.

I don't think 6 wins is unreasonable. Much beyond that gets very difficult, given the quality of our competition. But if this season plays out like most, somebody on our schedule who we expect to be a very good team will struggle this year. Likewise, somebody on our schedule who we expect to be very beatable will turn out to be better than everyone expects.

But more important than the number of wins, I want this team to pass the "eye test." I want to see them play with attitude and heart, not catch punts inside the 10 yard line, make freaking tackles, and generally look like a team that is well-coached and motivated, even if they aren't quite there talent-wise.

Like several have stated I think 6 wins are very possible but any more gets exponentially harder. I want to see enthusiasm and execution that give me hope of future improvement. I only look at wins now and could care less about bowl eligible or anything in between. Only the playoffs matter now but with future expansion of the playoffs and paid players who knows what we’ll see in the future. Hopefully Beamer gets us pointing up again whatever the college landscape looks like.

I agree but would switch out a rotational “win 2 out of Auburn, Ky, Tenn, UGA, Florida”- whichever 2 we can win… We tend to lose one or two we shouldn’t from that group of teams and win one or two in upset fashion. So, while I would put UT and ky near the bottom of that group- I would not be surprised if we lost to one/both and beat a UGA/Fla type of team. It is just how things have gone in recent years it seems.. Auburn is a tough team to read for me with a new coach… but they will be mad at us for embarrassing them last year!

I think SC goes 3-1 out of conference, with the loss being to you-know-who. I only see two conference games I think SC will be favored to win, Vandy and Tennessee (who is a complete dumpster fire). I'd be surprised to see them beat anyone else on the SEC schedule. Five wins, and being competitive in losses to teams like KY, Mizzou and Auburn, and I think that's solid momentum for Beamer and company.

Something I think about, that this is the first year that we do not have a go to WR. Teams will stack the box on us and dare Doty to throw. I would like to see at WR who will be our starters and also there backups. I would say as of right now Brooks, Vann and Dak on the first team and OrTre, Adkins and Powers for there backups.

1 is half way to matching last year, I’m ready to start there. Need to see them on the field

This year is completely different than an all SEC schedule. Apples and oranges.

I’m only projecting 3 wins at this point. But anything below 5 is equal to last year’s disaster.

4 is the floor. Be competitive with the rest and don't make any boneheaded coaching decisions and I will consider it a good first year.
Now that's what I call an attainable goal.

But not terribly different from a 2019 schedule. Like apple sauce and apple baby food.
