Hey you loud mouth POS Sherman, You can think you are the best cb in the game, but Tom Brady just completed 74% of his passes for 328 yds and 4 tds against you and your defense. You mad bro?!!!!!
All 328 and all 4 tds. Does he get an individual trophy for this game? No. He and his PED gobbling teammates get nothing. He was part of the losing TEAM

Gronkowski for the Patriots likes to run his mouth too. I was happy to see someone slam that jerk to the ground during the fight.
Yeah Sherman is a real punk... He only graduated with honors from Stanford probably something all the people who complain about him could do without issue... Also he grew in Compton, one of the hardest places to live in America... He lives a clean life, does a lot of charity, never been in legal trouble.. He talks a lot of trash, he plays with an edge, that makes him a terrible person according to some... By the way, they threw at Sherman once for 6 yards... Hell, I wish we had more Gamecocks like him on our football team. And say what you will about Lynch, there is a reason why everybody on earth was shocked that the Hawks didnt give him the ball on the last play... He is probably the most valuable player to his team in the NFL... He just doesnt like to talk to the media again that makes him a horrible person... I wonder how much all the hate has to do with the fact that these two guys maybe don't look the way people want them to look and the fact that they dont care what anybody else thinks except their teammates.
Lynch represented his teammates, and the city of Seattle poorly..The interviews are part of Super Bowl week...He is not too good to participate in the process, even though he thinks he is...
Dont think anybody said he was dumb. He wants to present a certain image and that image has its pros and cons. I think everyone would be indifferent if darelle revis' team had lost because he keeps his mouth shut and does his job. You make yourself the center of attention and constantly run your mouth you better be prepared to take the gloating when you lose. For all his talk brady completed 74% of his passes for 4 tds to 4 different receivers. Who exactly was shut down?

Why call put the two players that had nothing to do with the loss? Lynch would have a second ring had he gotten a goalline carry and Sherman only had 1 (one) pass completed on him ALL GAME for 6 (six) yards.
I find it hilarious that posters slam Sherman but love them some DJ Swearinger. These two players are almost identical on how they carry themselves on the field. Pretty close off the field also, being as neither one has had any off the field issues.

But because he has a distaste for the media and their, more often than not, trite questions and tendency to publish out of context quotes he represents his teammates poorly...
So then why haven't we heard all the "quotes" and "thug" comments about Swearinger? I don't believe I ever recall Swearinger talking smack off the field and in the media as Sherman has. Swearinger plays tough and talks smack on the field, not off.
Lol are you new here? Plenty has been said on this forum and others about DJ when he was here. I immediatly think back to him flexing over ellington a few years back. Um, what exactly do you consider talking smack? Because Sherman said he's the best corner in the game? Its not smack talk when you back it up.
It is also funny to me that someone like Tom Brady is easier to accept and look up to for most people. Brady talks all kind of trash on the field as well. He cheated with the deflate gate thing... I think it is rather obvious... The Patriots skirt the rules and have flat out cheated several times now. But I guess since Brady is clean cut, has the model wife, does the whole model stuff he is somehow a better man then Lynch and Sherman. Not to mention, he left is long time girlfriend while she was pregnant for the super model. I know I want my kids to look up to someone like that. I think Sherman and Lynch are better role models when you take everything into account.
He's a loud mouth. And he's not the only person to graduate from a higher school of learning and experience success and still show some humility publicly. I don't pull for either one of these teams...but Sherman's self promotion is without bounds.
For example, who would call out another player (the 2-4 antics on the sidelines) to the camera while the game is still going on. Lacks class. Bet you won't ever see that kind of antic on a Bill Bellicek sideline.
Now let's compare that to Malcom Butler who made the play that won the game for the Patriots. He was stunned...and in shock right after the game....was grateful...showed humility after making one of the biggest plays on the biggest stage in sports. Saw him on ESPN this morning and he was still the same talking about how the Patriots are a team...and just never give up. There was not a "me" moment in the whole interview. Seems like a quiet spoken genuine real guy. Good for him. Now contrast that to what Richard Sherman most likely would have done had he made that kind of play. We've seen it before. I'll take the way Butler reacts every time. Enough said.
Sherman is a douche. I don't care what school he went to. The receiver who took a dump on the ball went to Stanford too. Seeing him and the Seahawks choke was a thing of beauty.

Brady completed 74% of his passes because most all were less than 10 yards of the dink and dunk variety. The Seahawks missed a lot of tackles on those dink and runners also. So, he played like an NFL QB should. Brady is a good QB, but he and Belichick have an ego the size of Texas.
With all the crap that is happening with players this year you are hating on those two. If lynch had gotten the ball the Hawk probably would have won but we will never know. Two great teams Great ballgame When it was over Sherman was first to congratulate Brady.
