About half an inch of snow instead of the 3-5 inches predicted. Been sleeting all afternoon and suppose to change over to freezing rain later this evening. Other than that, it's a beautiful day.

In NYC with the hubby for business meeting and it's COLD AS H*@#!!!!!!! It was 3 degrees here last night with the wind chill checking in at -17 degrees. Snow tonight. South Carolina is looking pretty good about right now..........as ALWAYS!!!!

Yeah, I sent some folks to Hendersonville and Asheville before the snow hit.
im in anderson too. the sleet is so thick on the ground it looks like snow. i too am worried about losing power. we did lose it the other night in that wind
Sleet and lots of it here at the Junction in the Campbello area of the upstate. Power will be just fine as long as it is only sleet. The freezing rain does all the damage.
Snowing and cold as a well digger a$$ here ...those coming north of Asheville on I-26 be very careful from Mars Hill, NC to Erwin, TN...
We have maybe 5 inches here in Flag Pond/Erwin and 2-3 in Johnson City....The Tennessee Dept of Transportation Vehicles have been salting I-26 since this morning...
