I actually thought we would win the game but no way did I think we would

This is a way to look at it. They had 8-3 pointers. We had 5. There's 9 points. We had 5 points from FT, they had 17. That's 12 difference. That's 21 and that kinda puts a new look at it.

Your summary of UCONN's scoring begs the response: 'Home Cookin' In Connecticutt'

Garnet, that's some crazy logic! We had three more 3's than you....yes, that's true....however, what if SC scored 3 x 2-pointers in those three hypothetical possession? That's only a 3 point differential, not 9.....and the free throws? How many of those extra 12 free throws would you have actually made?

Ewe, I was just showing the numerical difference and 3 more 3's and 12 more foul shots is 21 points better. For your info your team had a total of 7 fouls until about 6 minutes in the game when the outcome was determined. FYI, I counted at least 20 bad calls in the last half. It would not have changed the outcome, but would have been much closer. You have some great shooters and a great team. You don't need tell us our team is not that good.

Why is that crazy logic and why do you seem offended? Often, the definition of the better team is the one who makes more 3-pointers and more foul shots. Garnet never said that was the only difference in the game, but he certainly explained a large portion of the 25 point margin. For a program that has dominated womens basketball for the better part of two decades y'all sure do seem to need a lot of positive affirmation that your team is, indeed, dominant.

I'm not offended at all, and my intent was NOT to tell you that your team isn't that good. Your team IS very good. My only point was that it was a very simplistic way of looking at things and probably not very realistic. That's all. No less, no more. No offense or disrespect intended, and I apologize if that's the way it came off.

Why don't you just go back to your own board and celebrate with your UCONN team. We will be just fine without your observations.

It cam off very condescending. If the homer refs had called the game fairly, your best shooter would have fouled out in the first half. She pushes off on practically every shot she takes. It is so obvious on some no calls that it's borderline criminal. And Brianna or whomever your best player is was constantly blocking and we get called for charges or no call at all. Outrageous. I'm not saying we would have won either way but UConn is NOT 25 points better than South Carolina.

We will find out in March.

Well, clearly, UConn WAS 25 points better than South Carolina, and it had nothing to do with the refs.

I agree with the liberal. They whipped us every which way but loose.

I hope to see them again for the whole shebang. However, there are many a slips betweenst a cup & a lip.
