Yes indeed. We're getting an aspect of defense that we hardly got from Muschamp...a blitz. Delayed blitzes and corner blitzes have worked well lately. I imagine we'll see various types throughout the game.

I'm hoping for anything other than us getting blown out. We have to contain Shiply and the run. If (whatever his name is) has to throw it, then we have an even shot at beating them. However, that only depends on the O-Line. Brown needs time to throw. The O-Line will have to play the game of the year on Saturday night. Anything like the Mizzou game and we're toast.
I'm going with we got no chance because everytime I think we do have a chance, we fail miserably. So yep, I'll do us all a favor and say we got no chance.
We will have to score on D to win. They will stop our offense easy.
For what it's worth, I don't see how you can't use, nobody in this room has ever beaten this team as motivation! I think we are fairly closely matched and ungaloogalay also has a bum index finger, he was sailing the ball all over the joint Saturday!
I don’t know that we can load the box and stop someone from running. If that’s all there is to it I would hope our coaches would’ve employed it the last two weeks.

I thought I saw us using four solid color panels for signs two weeks ago. Surely it’s more complicated that that because they will definitely try and steal them.
The way the guys covered Saturday night I would load it early and make them throw, and adjust as needed.
Gotta stop Shipley I doubt they can beat us with the pass.
It will depend on which team shows up on Saturday, the Dr. Jeckel team, (FL., Auburn) or the Mr. Hyde team, (Missery, Tenn.)
Not only which game, but which quarter and sometimes which drive. Very inconsistent.
Win or lose I’m damn proud of this team and the trajectory of this program. It will be a tough game to win but they have heart. I hope they come out fast and loose.
He also can't read zone coverages per my Clemson friends.
We run a lot more zone too, which is smart considering how much we lost in the back end to the league and portal.

We've been winning at home outside of Kentucky.
I agree if we play loose, and execute like we did last week we will get the W.
Tennessee's offense to Clemson's is no comparison, they don't have the OL, QB or the quick hit outside pass game at the center of their offense. In fact, Tennessee would boat race Clemson because they'd completely take away Clem's DL and blitz game which is there strength and hit them where they're weakest which is the one on one coverage assignments outside.
Love the gamecocks....win or lose this year much better than expected.....but if we lose this fanbase will be ready to fire everybody.
Not really. A broad majority of the fanbase understands that Beamer has exceeded expectations in year one. He's started to turn the battleship in a new and better direction. Would it help to make a move or two on the offensive side of the ball? Sure. But that's also warranted whether we win or lose on Saturday.

The fanbase understands what Beamer has already accomplished this year, and won't be calling for across the board firings if we don't beat Clemson on Saturday. It's tiring to hear folks complain about the assumed stupidity of our fanbase. It's nothing but a strawman argument.
Hmmm... Was thinking about this and it seems some have allowed these stupid trolls to be successful and drive them away from IF. We need to fight back and use ignore feature as often as needed. Even I have thought about stopping posting but then they win.
Why are you saying I'm giving a straw man? I'm saying we have a vocal minority that create the perception of a coaching staff with no confidence from the fanbase which causes a dead program. I didn't say we're a dumb fanbase,I just said we have a lot of people that won't keep their dumb and damaging opinions to themselves. I'm aware most gamecock fans aren't insane and I'm also aware they aren't the ones doing most of the talking on forums and social media.
Edit: I recognize more you were speaking of something someone else said, because I'm a bit separated of the conversation to this point, but I think they were also commenting on the way it frames the perception of the fanbase, I'm sure he also understands it's a vocal minority, but it's a really vocal minority
