I always liked Princeton. Good basketball. Nice campus. And, as Sanjay and Kumar know all too well, a White Castle is not too far away.
Detroit is my second favorite MLB franchise, and I was happy when Stanford Jennings ran a kickoff back for a TD for Cincy in the Super Bowl, and I was sad about Dwight Clark, but otherwise I'm allergic all the way down to Blue Ridge HS. I remember when Princeton added insult to injury by beating us in the NIT after a disappointing season in 74-75, Mizzou is becoming ever more unlikeable as a program and an institution, LSU is LSU and Auburn is the Mistake Without a Lake, and I'm inclined to believe any bad thing about the Hamilton Tigers of the CFL. Oh, and then there's Clemson. I hate Clemson.
However, I do like actual tigers, because they are amazing creatures which aren't presently stalking me. However, if I lived in a village in Sumatra, I would hate them. And Clemson.
