I heard on WLOS last night about a kid from WNC, named Cal Raleigh

who made first team All American catcher in high school baseball. He had originally committed to quempsum but backed out when jacklegg got canned. They said, as soon as he got approval from the a she she he was going to look at some other a she she schools, like UVA and FSU and if things there didn't workout he could end up at WCU.
I wonder if we expressed any interest in this kid? They didn't name any SEC schools, so it could just be he has no interest in the SEC. But just wondering........

You do realize we already have an All American catcher signed and coming for next year in Chris Cullen, right? Both Chris Cullen and Caleb Raleigh are Honorable Mention All Americans and both made 1st team for their region, Cullen for the Southeast and Raleigh for the Atlantic. Raleigh isn't going to choose USC with another All American already coming at his position.

I don't really know but it was reported on WLOS, if I understood the report correctly. Maybe he had already signed and needed a formal release from the a she she, just don't know. But, it does sound odd though.
