Does anybody else really hate how some players pump fake on the three, wait to see if the defender jumps, then leaps into them and releases so they can get three free-throws? An Auburn guy just did it, and there was one guy on Bama's team that did it two or three times a game. It's not like the shooter don't even look like they're trying to avoid the guy and get the shot off, they're just throwing up there so they can get the whistle. I know it's legal, and that if you don't want to be called for a foul you shouldn't jump, but it just seems really gamey and cheap, sort of like leaning into a pitch (though that's illegal now).

How is it any different than pump faking underneath. .? I gotta disagree.

It's a rule that needs to be changed. If they go out of their normal path to initiate the contact then if anything is called it should be an offensive foul. It's one thing if they pump fake and then go straight up but when they pump fake and jump sideways or diagonally into the defender it's kind of ridiculous.
