let me explain.

In my eyes, a great high school football player/prospect is a four or five star recruit. There is actually a very small difference between those ratings, and if you look, their level of success in college is about identical.

Looking at our classes over the the last five years:

4 or 5 star recruits

2010 6
2011 7
2012 8
2013 8
2014 10
2015 11

And we didn't 'lose' 10 recruits, since you don't really have them until it is in writing.

So let's celebrate the great student/athletes that wanted to be part of our 2015 class!

Will all of our recruits make it in academically? I hate to see a repeat of what happened last year.

You realize you're counting some of these guys twice? For example, Sawyer is a 4 star in 2014 and 2015.

Every year some of ours don't qualify. So get ready for it.

I think the staff learned an embarrassing lesson last year...Coaches said they anticipated all qualifying ... not counting TE'S...SC signed 11 linemen..in sec cant have enough linemen and on paper they look good..

like the class

You do realize that happens to every team right? I know trashing our program is the only way you get your rocks off, but you could at least try to act like you are not a troll SOME of the time... You know, mix it up to throw people off??

Let's look at the lineman...

DL - 3 Juco DEs coming in over 270! That'll get it done...add to that 6'3 280lb DT Wideman...

OL - 4 guys coming in avging 300lbs...avg 6'4! One of them 324lbs! That's really, REALLY good for incoming freshmen Offensive Line...

I think we did pretty darn good...we won't be pushed around in the trenches once these guys get on the field...if we can get some good play from our secondary, we should be a MUCH improved DEFENSE.

If Nunez comes in and performs well, we have some good incoming backs, TEs and WRs to take pressure off him and allow him to be productive as a dual threat QB.

I'm excited about the coming season...if Hoke earns his new title as DC, we could have the year that we were supposed to have in 2014...

During the signing day presser, last year's qualifying issues were referenced and it was asked if we have any with problems this year. Jr. responded that the non-quals last year were anticipated and knew they were going to be placed until the grades came up. He then followed with all of the signees will be here this year. I think the only exception is Daley, and that was announced when he committed.

I've played against some very big guys , who were big and slow, and not very good. I have also played against some small guys who could give you a headache with their quickness and aggressiveness.

That is correct but that is not limited to just this year. Brison Williams and Kelcy Quarles were double-signed in
2010 to 2011.

There are many players who are big but couldn't crack 3* status...I can't see the coaching staff offering anyone who doesn't have the talent to play in the SEC...

Recently, we've brought in players who just don't have the SIZE to play in the SEC.

We don't have that problem with this class...we have the size coming in...
