If Georgia Bulldogs seem to be getting

the best recruits, stealing em from Bama and taters, why don’t we adopt the pit bull as our mascot. Carolina Pitt Bulls. Feels good man.

Good idea. Question, would we go script Pitbull on the helmets or our new logo below?

UC Santa Cruz

The Banana Slug, a bright yellow, slimy, shell-less mollusk commonly found on the redwood forest floor, was the unofficial mascot for UC Santa Cruz coed teams since the university's early years.

How about we become the USC Palmetto Bugs!!!
One side of Willy B could yell COCK and the other side respond, ROACH.
We could change our fight song to La Cucaracha. And we could nickname Willy B
"The Roach Motel" ... Teams check in ... but, they don't check out!

Nah! Too many teams prolly already using it.

point of information: they became the banana slugs by student body vote a few years back and the Ga dog ain't a pit bull, it is an English Bull... now continue the rant:confused:

Do you think recruits subconsciously look upon the Gamecock mascot as a detrimental factor in their choice? I personally think it’s very cool and unique. But maybe they just see a chicken? And people in their ear telling them not to become a “Cock”?
Shoulda stayed Jaguars. How many other Jaguars are there in the FBS?
