would we still have Satterfield? If he left, would Kenny Loggins be the OC hire? Did those 2 wins give Beamer enough goodwill to take a complete shot in the dark, because Kenny Loggins is a shot in the dark at best.

I think Satterfield was making these arrangements halfway through the season and was out the door anyway. I think that Nebraska may have hired him based off our last two games. And didn’t pay much attention to tge Mizzou/Fl game.

It would have been nice to hire that someone else guy. Kenny Loggins, wtf?

Just wait till next year and the offense comes out to the field with their NEW HYPE SONG due to our new OC Kenny Loggins!!

I don't think it will supplant "Sandstorm", but it would be hilarious and it's actually very uplifting!!!

No, I think Saban would have probably applied for and gotten the job in that case.

Rhule was hiring away Satterfield, no matter what. They have a long history together. The delusional expectations of some of our nutty fans made it easy. I think Beamer went and got the best that we could get. But, it will be like starting over with a project. It may or may not work out, but we have to give him time to get things going. And I mean years.

You’re correct. Hes friends w Matt Rhule, this was happening either way

But we didn't lose.....WTH is wrong with some of you people? You sit around and fantasize about losing?
It’s the same 4 posters. I think they script their negativity approach for the
week on Sunday mornings while skipping church.

Usually goes something like this….baseball player strikes out, fire tanner.
Football team wins….we wouldn’t have won if we hadn’t scored that touchdown.
We hate Satterfield, he’s gone now….we hate the other guy more.
We know it’s Beamer’s team, but he should have checked with us first.
Yeah, we beat UT and Clemsux, but……….

Lastly, they have been silver spur members 40 years and lifelong gamecock fans.

Yeah, we beat UT and Clemsux, but……….

I'm genuinely curious if you think that's going to be the norm going forward?

I've only been a fan for 23 years, but I'm worried about our future. Tennessee, Clemson and Florida are adding top 10 classes while we're replacing a five RB with one from Newberry College.

I hope Beamer proves me wrong. But it's starting to feel like 2013/14 again where we kept convincing ourselves that David Johnson were going to be good enough to keep our momentum going.

I was thinking this the other day and thought of asking the group the question, in your opinion what is the person, thing or word that had the most affect on us beating ut and cu and in my opinion it somehow was confidence and that confidence came straight from coach beamer! Everyone had given up on this team, but he kept believing and kept working, i think we’re lucky to have him and need to trust him and let him do his job!

Although I think we have been playing with an offensive talent deficiency vs most of the Power 5 teams on our schedule the last 2 years, I think Satterfield was on his way out one way or another after this year. Glad he was able to find something else and avoid there being an unfortunate situation where Beamer was going to have to terminate a friend of his. I think from a season narrative, this was a win-win for everyone involved. Satterfield gets a fresh start somewhere else, Beamer gets to show that he had his guy's back all season, and the program gets a change of leadership that was badly needed on the offensive side of the ball.

I think if Satterfield returned for a 3rd season, it would be the same inconsistent stuff where we weren't getting the ball in the hands of the playmakers we do have. There will be a point soon where we should no longer be rebuilding and struggling to get to 7 wins will not be acceptable.

I for one am glad that we are trying something else.

Agreed, and we'll said.

I have always worried about our future….usually from game to game. I was in school with Big George……been an up and down ride. But I always look forward to the next game. Even when I am pissed about the last game. .

I think you are correct. Confidence is so huge.

It was in one of the drives that South Carolina scored in the first half against Georgia that Anderson pushed a pile of dawgs for at least five yards. Right now, I think South Carolina should give Anderson more chances with carries.

What it gave was another 7 years of BEAMER BALL. If you are a martyr & believer rejoice!!! Otherwise, understand why we play Noon games and ESPN+ games and talk about 16 yard rushings gains as a hi-lite (Did I spell that the sexually correct way???)

Nuff said…..each times he’s touched the ball he looks good. Let him play.

Okay, then this brings up a question. If it is literally that obvious to us (and it sure seems that way), then why can a position coach, coordinator and head coach not see it?

Is there no other explanation than those 3 must be dumber than the internet message board crowd?

I think Saturday will tell a lot. We must start running the ball or as several have already said we are one dimensional and it will be a struggle this season.

The good news is there just aren't a lot of good teams on our schedule this year.

Had typed this long opinion reply…….IPad refreshed screen, lost it, and lost interest in retyping. Not doubting the coaches, and there’s lots that goes into being a RB. Even Mario admitted he was still learning how to prepare at this level. I think we see him more this week. Our team has gotten better the past two weeks. I see it. Lots to play for still.

I admit, I was leading somewhere with the question.

If a RB is poor at pass protection, putting him in this offense could get Rattler killed.

It's just one example (not saying it's true) of how something else could be keeping him off the field.

As much as we are all experts on message boards, I can't believe that thousands of fans can see something so obvious, and multiple levels of the staff are blind to it.

It’s also the same reason Bell wasn’t an every down TE.

And my Ipad is jacked up today……not sure why it grabbed the reply to Watson here. I am giving up for the day😀. But we agree.

Must win this weekend.

This reminds me of the way I felt before UNC. Not the chances of winning, but that a win is a must. Because we've got better teams coming up on the schedule, and we will struggle if we can't win this game.

I can accept the UNC loss because of all the unknowns and immediate injuries, but that loss just made this one double in mustness!

I'm not going to lie. I used to get upset..ect over a loss but have now put football into perspective. If we win great...it's a great day. If we lose, so be it.....it's still a great day.....I'm a much happier person now.

A loss today could be disruptive to Beamer's plan. Not saying it could destroy it, but it would have to be overcome.
