If your recruiting is ranked say, 11th - 60th....does it really matter?

Recruiting Rankings mean very little to almost nothing when it comes to comparing a South Carolina to all these other middle of the road teams.

Recruiting Rankings normally mean a ton when you’re LOADED with 4 and 5 stars across the board. (A mini-NFL team.).
Bama, Georgia, clemson(puked a little), Oklahoma, Ohio State, Florida at times, LSU at times, etc, etc.

Recruiting Rankings usually mean a ton when you’re LOADED with no-stars and 2-stars across the board. (A glorified high school team.)

But, for everyone else in the middle.....it normally boils down to:

Who has the best LOS, (Line of Scrimmage)
Coaching
Execution
Matchups
and turnovers.

These are the things that will beat the Kentucky’s, Mizzou’s, and other so-so programs.

Evidence:
Our best run (under spurrier) was loaded with NFL talent.
Deebo Samuel leads the NFL in receiveing. But, he’s one guy. Even the current leading NFL receiver couldn’t make us a winner.

Followed by, Coaching, Conditioning, Game Planning, Execution, and a strong LOS.
