I always buy when I get there. Last couple times I sat right behind our bench and paid very little.

Not sure that works the first game of the season, everyone goes to the first game.
We have been there and bought off the street several times, but several years ago
when they played in Nashville the opening Saturday, there wasn't a ticket in site.
Had to pay full price at the ticket office !

Yeah, my fear is it being the first game of the season. Would like the peace of mind of having tickets in hand if possible.

No fear, you will get in, no way it is a saleout.
I am just saying you will have to pay full price at the ticket office.
You shouldn't have any trouble sitting with the Gamecocks.
That way, if something comes up at the last minute, you aren't stuck with the tix.
