Jackie finally broke an 0-30 slump dating back to last year and after a long stint at Pawtucket. Went 2-4 yesterday for the Sox, MLB average still abysmal though at .133. Was batting about .350 in triple A. Hoping he gets some more opportunities and continues to make the most of them!

He threw a guy out trying to tag up and go home. He was out by a mile.

JBJ really is horrid (.194 career average with 547 plate appearances). He's worse than Mario Mendoza.

Hope he gets hot in the limited ab"s for the next month so the redsox can get something for him in a trade . Right now they couldn't get a bag of practice balls in a trade.

The Red Sox have a young kid who is excelling in cf. Can't think of his name but he is performing at a high level both at bat and in the field.

JBJ was a great college baseball player...but he's a AAAA pro. Too good for AAA. Not good enough for the major leagues. He can't hit major league pitching.

I went to the game. Jackie was 2-4. Steve Pearce went 3-4 with 2 doubles and a nice catch up against the wall.

Tonight 1-3 with an RBI as they win by one, average up 34 points to .167. Creepin up and having some success

Jesus....Give him a break. Yeah...he has stunk it up, but sometimes guys take a while.

He has had trouble at the plate, that's for sure. But plenty of people in the know say he's at the top when it comes to fielding his position. Hitting big league pitching isn't easy but I have the feeling his bat will catch up and we'll see him in the bigs for a while.

0-3 tonight with a K. Back down to .143.

People have praised his fielding ability but those same experts also said he's running out of MLB chances in Boston due to his bat. There's a reason Boston was trying to trade him in Spring Training.
