What if Carolina had hired Dan Radakovich ( he was interested) instead of Ray Tanner as our AD and Clemson hired their baseball coach Jack Leggett as their AD ( like we did)?
RT would not have talked SS in staying when his heart wasn't into coaching.
So Muschamp would not have been our FB coach and no massive buyout to deal with. We would have to be in better shape in FB.
RT may still be our BB coach or would have left by now. Either way, we are probably better in BB. May even have Monte Lee by now who was the heir apparent to RT.
Frank would not have a massive buyout for two good weeks of basketball. He may be gone as well. Again, we are probably better off.
Clemson with a nonprofessional AD ( like us now) would still be good in FB. But, they wouldn't be kicking our butts in all other men's sports.
So I guess we can thank Pastides and/or the BOT for this mess. Now Caslen is repeating the mistake by letting RT head the search for a new FB coach. These are the decisions that keep Carolina in the cellar of the SEC and below Clemson on the athletic field.
