Kevin Wynn, huge 4-star DT that is committed to FSU. Very disappointed in what he saw in the first FSU game. Looking to flip to Georgia, SC and Texas. One of the few guys Texas and SC ever go head to head on. Officially visited South Carolina on June 7th and then Texas on June 14th. Visited Georgia in May. Rivals only rates him the 21st DT, but you can see from the offers he is better than that. Texas wants him bad and Georgia leads for the No.1 and No 2 tackles (Justus Terry and Elijah Griffin). There are three FSU guys Texas wants to flip and that embarrassing loss was a godsend. Anyone hear any SC news about Wynn?

I'm not sure what we could offer versus a Texas or UGA if either of those teams really wants him?

"You will see more playing time early" is a hook of the past.

It will come down to the Benjamins.

The problem is that a team like Texas or Georgia can't offer him the moon, because then other recruits and older players at similar positions get offended they are getting less. You have to raise everybody. In that sense, SC may have the advantage. SC may not be as concerned other d-linemen will bail or gripe because of a good offer to Wynn.

Texas just lost an OL named Fausi to OU, because OU went over a million in NIL. Texas obviously has the money to match, but then this untried rookie would be getting more NIL than the starters including a preseason All American left tackle. So they didn't do it.

No.

Not sure a kid that flips because of one game is one I'd think about much.
They sold him on "we're a powerhouse again" and "our qb is one of the best in the country." The qb frankly stunk big time. Georgia Tech pushed FSU around. So you can see where he felt a bit deceived.

Texas just flipped 4-star Myron Charles, another defensive lineman that had been committed to FSU. Don't know if that closes the books on Wynn or if Texas would take both.

The DT Wynn is still debating coming to the Texas-Georgia game and has a real interest but Texas doesn't have a culinary program and he wants to be a chef. Texas is trying to sell him on majoring in business and working at a local restaurant for experience. They are talking different options.

Oh good Lord.

If he's good, he can use his NIL money to go to any culinary school in the country after his playing career is over.

He's just a kid though.

If he is that good I’m sure $$ will be a factor
Not that highly rated, but a big body. Don't think he will command the NIL $$ that someone like Hilson will. Hilson is a 5-star, 6.1 DE who just de-committed from FSU this week. Texas is on him, but so is Alabama who he was once committed to. Miami is also after him and he is a Florida kid.

Seems to me that he'd return to the portal if his current team has a bad loss.
