Don’t understand why they are afraid to take it inside every time. Other team has to let you shoot or foul. Paopao and Johnson have regressed this year. Fulwhiley does too much circus crap. Kits is the only player that has improved over last year.

Anybody seen Tessa Johnson's game anywhere?? It seems to be missing. I mean to be fair, as bad as they have played, they are in the Final 4 but it is not pretty.

Fulwiley had four consecutive turnovers in the Duke game. Three of them were traveling calls.
I rarely comment on women’s basketball because I do not watch it. But yesterday, while waiting for the men’s tournament to tipoff, I watched the first half. Slow ball, missed easy shots, nobody can jump, sloppy ball-handling, players with eyelashes so long it seems it must distract them, etc. No change and I’ll not watch again for a long time. But I do check the scores now and then and always hope we win because we are Gamecocks. But it’s hard to watch.
Women’s college and WNBA games are very painful to watch.
Yes most of it is hard to watch. I think the WNBA is even harder to watch. This year's team isn't as talented and a little more unorganized than last years team. Last years team was very entertaining to watch because they were balanced and hit shots. This year we have several players that forgot how to shoot, no one to contest in the post, and an electric guard that either makes a great play or turns it over in her 12 minutes of play. UCONN and UCLA are much better and that game may be worth watching. The winner of that game takes in all IMHO.
I may not LOVE to watch Women's basketball, But i would Much Rather watch a Winning SC squad (mens or womens) instead of a Losing team like Men's Basketball or Baseball. Just my preference. If you would rather watch a BAD men's team lose than a good women's team win, Well YOU SURE GOT THAT!!

I use to play basketball for a large church league. I wasn't very good and only saw some mop up time. There was one lady on one of the other teams in our league that had played college basketball at a small school in North Carolina. I don't even remember where, not sure I ever knew.
She was about 5'9" or so and obviously a guard in college. She basically could not be guarded in our league. She easily was one of the best 3-4 players in the entire league which, as I remember it, consisted of 8 men's teams.
I was never on the floor at the same time as her, but I did get to watch her several times. She didn't always make all the games. She wasn't the fastest player, but she could hit almost all her shots and easily was the best shooter in the league.
It's pretty stunning watching someone like her play regular joes who think they are pretty good. It's quite a difference.
We also had a guy who had played basketball at Lander- or at least that is what I was told. He was the fastest player in the league by far and was easily the best- and the team I was on had two players who were all conference players in high school. They couldn't come close to guarding or staying with this guy at all. We would all laugh watching him hit shots with guys 4-5 inches taller than him guarding him because he was so quick.
Our ladies were very good for the last three quarters against Texas last night, but that slow start is going to really hurt them if they do it against UCONN. UCONN is loaded with scorers at every position going to be very difficult to beat them.
