Tanner Bronson, Paris' top assistant from UTC who he mentioned in his opening press conference, has been officially approved to join Paris' staff at South Carolina. The news comes a day after he hired his first staff member, Carey Rich. It would seem thus far that Paris wants to mix people familiar with his system with people familiar with the state of South Carolina, which could prove to be a winning combo.
Bronson will be on a one-year deal worth 290k. Bronson's coaching experience includes:
UNLV, Program Assistant, 2016-17
St. Louis, Asst. Coach, 2012-16
St. Louis, Graduate Manager, 2011-12
Sioux Falls (G-League), Asst. Coach, 2009-11
He also spent the last month as the UT Chatanooga interim head coach while they looked to fill Paris' position.
