I don't know what Dowell Loggains can do when the protecting is struggling this much, but it's going to be tough sledding offensively. Cason Henry got bulldozed on that play.

Vandy update: They take a 17-7 lead then stuff TN on a 4th and 1 too regain control near midfield. They are doing their job so far, but Gamecocks not holding up their end of the bargain.

Look, they were down 14-0 here two years ago. There's so much game left. But you have to protect better. There's no shot right now for Sellers or the offense. And you probably need a lengthy drive here just to give the defense a breather.

Finally Sellers gets a clean pocket, and hits Harbor for a gain of 17. There's holes to be had here if Sellers is given a chance to find them.

OL has struggled a bit in pass pro so far, but they are opening up run lanes for both backs

Big time response from Sellers and the offense there as he continues to write his legend. A few more plays like that today would more than cement it.

I still think you need to protect better to win this thing, but one problem at a time. Gamecocks got on the board and established a little bit of a running game. Gave the defense a breather in the process to. And barring something stupid on special teams, the defense should get to play with normal field position for the first time in three drives.

So far Klubnik has thrown a few dangerous passes, the Clemson WRs have just won all of them. Big question is whether the Gamecock DBs can start to win their fair share or even force an turnover.
