Lots of low scoring baseball games right now

Virginia loses to Pitt 1-0 last night, while Tennessee loses to Grand Canyon 1-0. I guess lots of hitters need bat warmers right now.

Once the big bat warmer in the sky is hitting us at a more direct angle, things will pick up.

Trust me, I feel stronger about this than most people.

I have a son that plays for a small college. He hit 10 homers his fr and soph years of hs but hit 2 in his jr and sr seasons...with the crappy bb-core bats. So far he's not hit any in college but at least he did bat over 350 his first season and batting 1000 as of now...after 1 game! hahaha

The new balls are supposed to help hitters this season, and it does seem some teams are scoring more runs. Not sure if they are related but it sure hasn't helped our hitting, at least not so far.

Some of these young players seem to be good hitters. I just hope Holbrook has the fortitude to do what it takes to win. You gotta play your best and no one should have a reserved spot.
