That alone is reason enough to fire any Defensive coordinator.
LSU did not punt the entire game

The way our defensive tackles played Saturday night. It's not surprising they never punted. Our guys were on skates all night. One play their guard drove Pickens 5 yards off the line of scrimmage.
Even Clemson punted a few times in 2003 and 2016.
In theory you could force lots of turnovers and 4th down stops instead of punts though, just saying.

They didn’t even have a 4th down to decide on a punt.
Ok two things here...
If it’s lack of talent that kept us from forcing a punt, we are NOT going to recruit out of that hole. If it hasn’t been done by now it won’t.

It got him, Johnny Majors and Phillip Fulmer fired. Of course, BOOM! really got himself fired as he eventually will here.
