Yeah, Hooker juked his own ACL. I don't think anybody even touched him. And nobody was laughing.

Hooker was/is a great player and literally no one was ok with him getting hurt.
Tennessee ruined Lattimore's career and they also took out Anthony Wright. They already had lots of bad karma, but talking about trying to hurt Rattler is scummy.

So glad we ruined their season last year. And then Clemson too. Epic finish. Probably the best I had felt about Gamecock football since 2010.
Tennessee has always cheated to get recruits. Their teams are usually more talented than ours. They have kicked our butts and thrown sand in our face many times. I like beating Tennessee more than I enjoy it when we beat Georgia.
Tennessee this year wants to not only beat us they want to humiliate us. The environment is going to be very hostile Saturday night. I want us to win this game more than any conference game on our schedule this season. It would be freaking fantastic if Rattler leads the team to a win on the scale of last years win. We get to watch their fans leaving the game early in the 4th quarter.

I live here…UT fans are comical. One caller on local talk show talking about gettin revenge on the DT for us that intentionally took out Hookers knee. They are trying so hard to be fired up. The announcer didn’t correct the caller….just went with it. They are either in early alzheimers, need glasses, or on crack. Hookers knee was a non contact injury.
But to this day, as much as UT fans try to say their player did not try to hurt Marcus on purpose, I say that’s a lie. The big, defensive lineman had him stopped and wrapped up. I literally thought the ref was going to blow the whistle because forward motion had been stopped. Their defensive back comes flying in and launches himself at Marcus‘s knee. I’ve had this discussion with a few UT fans and they said you have to hit someone like ML low. I say it was a cheap shot on a back that was not going any further…totally uncalled for hit.

They were talking today, saying South Carolina is not really a rival. I said we were like that beat you in basketball and now it’s time to shake them off your leg. Said we were more of an irritant that didn’t belong in their class. Wonder if they realize since 2010, out of the 13 games we have played, South Carolina has won seven.
I watched a podcast of Tennessee hicks discussing the game. They want the defense to blitz every down and hopefully get Rattler out of the game.
