Looks like many of us were right that he will be a R5 or so lick at best.
I certainly hope he has not been mislead and fall out the bottom of the draft.

I don't know why but I think you do hope he falls out so you can continue with the I said he should have stayed routine. If I'm wrong, sorry, but this seems to happen every single time we have a guy leave early and he doesn't go high in the draft. Some strange need to kick a guy just because he didn't hang the full four years.Looks like many of us were right that he will be a R5 or so lick at best.

He's where he wants to be. Leave him be.
Maybe he can just tap his helmet and take himself out of the draft as well
A shame...but the University has got to do something about whomever is around the program giving these kids the horrible advice?
EVERYBODY with a brain new that no rational player whom had the season which Davis had last season should try to enter the draft...he was not even the best back on the team.
Look kids sometimes make questionable decisions but the number of SC players whom are leaving early for no legitimate reason has to be more than a coincidence....
This makes like 20 something kids in the last decade whom have been lead to leave early whom never sniff being drafted and some do not even get invited to training camp?
Who are these vultures?

And yet it's their decision not yours. We don't know if an extra year would help or not. My guess is a lot of these guys a) aren't into school that much and b) are tired of playing for free.I agree with Poultry King. Most of the 'early outs' at Carolina over the past 5 years or so have NOT been the best decisions for the athletes who left early. These young men need better advice from the other side of the table.
I think most people were saying 3-5. He's probably the best back left. I thought he would have gone before Matt Jones. I expect him to be taken in the 4th round.Looks like many of us were right that he will be a R5 or so lick at best.

Look, to some of these players it is just a matter of economics. They came from families that didn't have much and see the chance at helping better their life and other family members and reach for the dough. I wish them all the better.A shame...but the University has got to do something about whomever is around the program giving these kids the horrible advice?

He wasn't going to raise his stock by coming back. I think he made the right decision.

So he's been picked? I'm outside & away from the tube.

Mike Davis is small, slow, and can't return kicks or punts. He was and is limited.
He doesn't have the same "rich uncle" his brother had. ESPN just reported that his mom was recently evicted.
He didn't make much money because he was drafted in the 6th round. He was often injured.didn't his brother play a couple of years in teh league himself? what the heck happened to his money, that he lets him mom get evicted?
