*** Lindsey adds another SC-born coach to Shane Beamer's staff, he was born in Cheraw and later moved across the border to North Carolina.
*** He's coached at various levels over 20 all-conference players, 7 All-Americans, and 5 conference defensive players of the year - most recently DeAngelo Malone at WKU in 2019.
*** Obviously, the tie here is Gamecocks DC Clayton White; Lindsey coached DL (in 2017) and then DEs (2018, 19) for White at Western Kentucky prior to moving to Illinois for the 2020 season. Lindsey also had two seasons of carryover with OC Marcus Satterfield at Chattanooga a while back.
