We told you yesterday that Oklahoma transfer TE Austin Stogner would be one to keep an eye on where the Gamecocks are concerned due to the connections to Shane Beamer.
We can now tell you that Stogner is expected to take a visit to Columbia this Thursday-Friday.
Despite what has been posted by several on this board, Stogner has not committed to South Carolina - publicly or silently - at this time. But there is definitely a lot working in the Gamecocks favor here and he's the type of player who could make an immediate impact.
I believe he's a potential NFL guy and would immediately slide into Nick Muse's role in that room.
