My answer: yes, they can.

Yes, they really are this bad. Only one or two consistent hitters in the whole lineup, seems like the pitching staff has taken off, and the defense never has been much to brag about this season. Then there's the coaching, or a lack of it. We are bad in all aspects of the game right now.

Yep, teams occasionally just have to pitch around two of our guys. If the get an early 2-0 or 3-0 lead, it's game over.
