I think they are one of the 4 best. A lot of us do.
But the CFP is in place to do what? To find the best team in the country. In what was essentially a play in game Georgia lost to a playoff team, in a home setting no less. They had their one shot! Just like the other 4 teams will get.
Making the CFP just to play the same team again was not an option.
It has been proven they are not the BEST team and that is the main goal of the CFP.
