That will open a can of worms.
Let’s see what happens if anyone tries to put a conservative patch on their uniform. Only pro left patches will be allowed I’m sure. This opens the doors for a lot of problems.
Remember the Tebow rule? Couldn’t have messages on your eye black. Bible verses were too offensive.

I just really want sports to stay sports during the games. By all means, share your opinions but please do it outside of field of play.

Black lives matter to me, but I disagree with the organization’s views overall. I’m a Christian and they have anti-Christian beliefs. I attend a multi-racial church and diversity is beautiful. I just know that this is going to bring division and anyone who tries to wear something with a conservative opinion will be judged harshly. It’s the world we live in.

The players are not in the field for the anthem so that shouldn’t be a problem.

Preach it my brother. I concur, as Christians we need to pray against the evil in our society.

Apparently it would be subject to approval by each conference. Let the left-wingers in the PAC-12 do all of that. Hopefully Sankey has more sense than to alienate a huge number of SEC fans if he allows intertwining political beliefs and college football. Does he?

I couldn't care any less about what's on the jerseys. So I don't have a dog in this fight. But he would alienate even more by not allowing it.

Residents around Rosewood want to paint the street with another giant BLM with rainbow in the middle. Doesn't the city or state have control over the streets? I guess anyone should be able to paint message on the street even if the majority doesn't like it.
Why would it bother you so much? Why would you care?

Because some don't agree with their operation as explained. Why can't you pick a street and paint what ever you feel? I'm betting there would be police to grab you and take you directly to jail. I remember when BLM first came up and one of their first marches, their pitch, Pigs in a blanket fry'em like bacon. They used the Floyd murder to cease money and power. So no, I don't like big painted streets with false prophets as heroes.

What does that have to do with it? Are Confederate Flag patches gonna be worn?
Uh no, so that’s changing the subject.

The subject is .....most people in this country are not rascist, believe in God, do not support socialism, anarchy, communism and lawlessness....and do not support the oft-displayed plain pure hate for the United States of America. Most people are actually not sheep, they are instead too nice, too uncomfortable with conflict, or just plain too busy trying to make a living to deal with fighting cancel culture. Unfortunately their indifference or shyness from the issue has allowed Anarchist and Socialist to breed and capture large quantities of folks and use them in their quest to take down not just the U.S.- but world order.

It has almost gone too far. I can tell you with 100% certainty that there has never been a country on this earth with the guiding principle’s this country does, and once it does go too far- there probably never will be again...to amount to anything...as hell will break loose when those who have been too busy and indifferent can no longer afford to ignore it and hope it goes away by being nice.

Good post Dan. A lot of Americans are asleep on the complexities of this particular issue.

I think this opens a huge can of worms. Will only PC, pro left phrases be adopted?? Can you put Bible verses on your patch??? I tune into sports as an escape to politics, don't like it in the pro sports. Certainly don't think it should be adopted by college's.
